The Speaker – Jennifer Henion
Jennifer’s goal is to “make it common place for people to use positive methods to train the retriever sports.” Jennifer has made it her life's mission to learn the science of positive animal training and how to apply it to Hunt Test and Field Trial training. Her program for teaching retriever field skills for Hunt Tests and Field Trials combines the science from her certification at the Karen Pryor Academy, the games learned from Susan Garrett's work, and field concepts learned from study and participation in Hunt Tests and Field Trials. We have asked Jennifer to apply her methods to the new AKC game of FETCH to help people master the more challenging parts of dogs retrieving objects.
