AKC All-Breed Shows - Hangtown Sierra Cluster Dog Show

are held at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds in Placerville  on Memorial Day weekend, Sat - Mon. May 23-25, 2015.

Rattlesnake Avoidance Training

Teach your dog to AVOID RATTLESNAKES! We hold annual clinics to teach your dogs to avoid the deadly snakes. (Flyer)

AKC Agility Trials

Will be held September 25-27, 2015, at the Leone Equestrian Center, Rancho Cordova, CA. Check out for trial information, premium and results. Agility Match also scheduled for Friday evening before the trials. See premium for more information.

  Friday, Sept. 11  -  GOLD PAW seminar is for community members interested in  Rescue, Fostering and Shelter management.  This is a one day seminar and will focus on helping Rescue/Shelter workers and volunteers be more successful in placement, management and training of shelter dogs. 
$35 includes lunch. No dogs please.

  Saturday, Sept. 12  -  THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME seminar is for anyone interested in learning how to train their dogs using a purely positive method. Pat is a highly respected author and trainer who uses  only positive training methods to bring out the best in your dog. These training methods are for pet owners and competitive obedience trainers!  12 working team spots available for the two seminars presented this weekend.

  Sunday, Sept. 13  - CLICK FOR TRICKS!  seminar is for anyone interested in learning how to train great, fun behaviors while at the same time improving their competitive obedience scores through positive training.  This seminar is also appropriate for pet owners as well as for those interested in obedience competition.  Lighten up and really learn to train positively!

Prices for 9/12-9/13 seminars:
$250 (both days) WITH a dog ( limited to 12 teams)
$125 (both days) WITHOUT a dog (non-member)
$ 90 (both days) WITHOUT  a dog (HKC Member)
